The writ petition-WP(C) No. 15/2024 preferred by the petitioner came to be disposed of by this Court in terms of an order dated 11.01.2024 without adjudication on merits but on the consensus of the counsel of both the sides in terms whereof the writ respondents were directed to treat the writ petition of the petitioner as a representation and accord consideration to the claims made therein. 2. The writ respondents came to carry out the purported compliance of the writ court direction as a result whereof the consideration has come to be accorded in the form of a written Order no. BDOA/2024-25/1716-21 dated 28.11.2024 passed by the Block Development Officer, Assar. Sr. No. 17 2 CCP(S) No. 186/2024 3. In terms of the purported consideration Order dated 28.11.2024, the claim preferred by the petitioner is held to be stale afflicted with delay and laches and, thus, being without merits. 4. The institution of the present contempt petition came to take place on 22.5.2024 whereas the consideration order came to be passed during the pendency of the contempt petition and as such, the purpose of the present contempt petition stands served. 5. Consideration order so passed in the case, good or bad, is now required to be questioned by the petitioner for which he is left to his liberty to pursue an appropriate legal course of action for seeking remedy under law, as such, this contempt petition is dismissed as rendered infructuous with liberty granted for the petitioner to avail appropriate legal course of action in the matter with respect to his grievance, if any, against the consideration order dated 28.11.2024. 6.
