Heard the parties.
The petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. Case No.157 of 2025 arising out of Barwadih P.S. Case No. 21 of 2025, corresponding to G.R. No.664 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 103(1), 3 (5) of the B.N.S., 2023, pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge- I, Latehar. On 13.04.2025, the informant came to know that his father was murdered in Village- Murgidih. The informant reached the place of occurrence and found that neck of the father was slit open. Suspicion was raised against accused Balram Singh, his sons and others that they might have committed the murder due to previous enmity.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is not named in the FIR. It was further submitted that his name was transpired in the confessional statement of co-accused Balram Singh. It was further submitted that nothing incriminating has been recovered on the pointing out of the petitioner. It appears that co-accused Sanjay Singh @ Sanjay Kumar has been granted bail by this Court vide B.A. No.6984 of 2025 and the case of the petitioner stands on similar footing. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Latehar, in connection with S.T. Case No.157 of 2025 arising out of Barwadih P.S. Case No. 21 of 2025, corresponding to G.R. No.664 of 2025.
