Pursuant to a detailed order passed in this petition on 12.11.2025, learned Additional Advocate General has placed on record office instructions dated 06.12.2025 from the Executive Engineer Dharampur Division, HPPWD Dharampur, District Mandi, conveying as under:-
“In this regard, it is submitted that in compliance to the directions passed by the Hon'ble court dated 12.11.2025, the monthly pension @ Rs. 10,075 per month has been sanctioned in favour of the petitioner under Pension Payment Order No. 1125325333(PPO). The arrears of pension from 01.01.2018 till date

- 2 - amounting to Rs. 11,57,891/- have also been paid to the petitioner and credited to his account. The copy of sanction order and receipt showing payment of arrears are enclosed for kind perusal.”
Copy of office letter dated 04.12.2025 from the District Treasury Officer, Mandi, District Mandi, addressed to the Executive Engineer, HPPWD Division Dharampur, District Mandi, has also been appended.

Learned counsel for the petitioner acknowledges the above facts, but has expressed some reservation with respect to quantum of arrears.

In view of documents placed on record by the learned Additional Advocate General, present contempt proceedings are closed. Notices issued to the respondents are discharged. It is for the petitioner to seek appropriate remedy for the redressal of his surviving grievances, if any, in accordance with law.
Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, also stand disposed of.
