Pathak, A.P. P. -------- 03/ Dated 08.10.2025 Heard the parties. The petitioners have been made accused in connection with Jarmundi P.S. Case No. 132 of 2024, for the offence registered under Sections 103(1) & 3(5) of the B.N.S, pending in the court of Md. Zaved Khan, learned Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Dumka. Petitioners happen to be the mother-in-law and sister-in-law of the deceased Puja Devi, who died due to Asphyxia because of hanging in her matrimonial home. It was submitted that there is no allegation against the petitioners for demand of dowry. Learned A.P.P on behalf of the State has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the petitioners used to taunt the deceased for not bringing the adequate dowry, due to which, she committed suicide. In view of the aforesaid fact, I am inclined to release the petitioners, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioners, named above, are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Md.
