The petitioner has been made accused in connection with C.I.D P.S. Case No. 01 of 2025, corresponding to C.I.D. Court Case No.08 of 2025, for the offence registered under Sections 316(2), 318(2), 318(4) & 61(2) of B.N.S., 2023 and Sections 12(2) & 12(3) of Jharkhand Competitive Examination (Prevention and Redressal of Unfair Means in Recruitment) Act, 2023, pending in the court of Sri Shyam Nandan Tiwari, learned A.J.C.-XVIII-cum-Special Judge, CID, Ranchi. This case relates to leakage of question paper of Jharkhand General Graduate Level Combined Competitive Examination, 2023. It is alleged that accused persons had enticed several students and gave them references of persons from whom they could obtain question papers of the said Examination, for which they had taken money. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that during course of investigation, it has come to light that no question paper was leaked. It was further submitted that the name of the petitioner has come in the confession of co-accused. It was also submitted that several co-accused persons have been granted bail by this Court earlier. Mr. Rakesh Kumar, learned counsel for the State has opposed the prayer for bail but does not dispute the aforesaid fact. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Shyam Nandan Tiwari, learned A.J.C.- XVIII-cum-Special Judge, CID, Ranchi, in connection with C.I.D P.S.
