(Oral) Once it is not in dispute that review DPC has been held and therein, case of the petitioner for promotion to the post of Assistant Controller (F&A) has been considered, nothing remains to be adjudicated in the instant proceedings. 2. Though Mr. Rakesh Kumar Dogra, learned counsel for the petitioner, submitted that though review DPC has recommended his name for promotion to the post Assistant Controller (F&A) but on officiating basis, whereas he ought to have been promoted on regular basis, but this court is of the view that aforesaid development is subsequent cause of action and for that purpose, petitioner may have to file fresh writ petition. - 2 - 3. Faced with the aforesaid situation, learned counsel for the petitioner, seeks permission to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file afresh.
