Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing on behalf of the official respondents. 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on instructions, submits that no such complaint dated 06.08.2025 as alleged by the petitioner has been received by the concerned police station. 4. On the other hand, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, in view of the said submission, the petitioner may be granted liberty to submit a fresh representation/complaint before the concerned police authorities for appropriate action in accordance with law. 5. Recording the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of, granting liberty to the petitioner to make a fresh representation/complaint to the concerned police authorities. On receipt of such representation, the concerned police shall consider the same in accordance with law and take appropriate steps expeditiously. It is made clear that the police shall not call 4 the petitioner to the police station or harass him in any manner in the event of no crimes being registered against him. There shall be no order as to costs.
