This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“....to direct Respondent Nos. 2 to 4 to provide continuous.
effective, adequate and meaningful police protection to the Petitioner's employees, authorized personnel, trucks and material handling logistics contractors and their employees and ensure that no obstruction is caused by the striking workers of the 8th Respondent Company or their agents to the free ingress and egress of the Petitioner's employees, authorized personnel, trucks and material handling logistics contractors and their employees for the smooth transportation of the manufactured items stored in the leased premises of 1st Petitioner Company at Plot No. 1-11 and 48- 52, Sy. Nos. 444, 19/12, 394, 288/2, EMC-II, Vikruthamala Village Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh – 517526.” ”
2. Heard Sri Vikram Pooserla, learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners and Ms.A.Jayanthi, learned Government Pleader for Home. 3. Learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners would submit that the petitioners have approached the police and submitted a representation requesting protection to lift the stock from the premises of the respondent No.8, which was purchased by the petitioners and further the petitioners have also obtained permission from the Revenue Divisional Officer and Joint Collector. 3
4. Learned Government Pleader for Home would submit that the Court may pass appropriate orders. 5. Considering the submissions made, the concerned Station House Officer is directed to look into the representation made by the petitioners and attend their cause within a couple of days by taking appropriate steps, with necessary police personnel, to ensure that the stock is lifted from the company without any untoward incident. It is further clarified that the petitioners shall bear the expenditure. 6. With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
