In pursuance to the previous order passed by this Court Ms.Usha Kiran has filed the affidavit of opposite party nos. 3 & 4 and the Standing Counsel has filed the affidavit of opposite party no.1 which are taken on record. The affidavits disclose that the balance amount of Rs.51,14,215/- payable to the applicant, which excludes the amount already deducted from the applicant before the order dated 19.5.2022 passed by this Court in Writ C No.14290 of 2022, along with simple interest @ 10% per annum has been refunded to him. The said fact is accepted by the counsel for the applicant. However, the contention of the counsel for the applicant is that no interest has been paid to the applicant on the amount already deducted by 19.5.2022. There is nothing in the order dated 19.5.2022 permitting either refund or payment of interest on the amount that was already deducted from the applicant before 19.5.2022. This Court in its contempt jurisdiction cannot decide into the aforesaid issue. The affidavits filed by the opposite parties show compliance of the order dated 19.5.2022. As the order passed by the Writ Court has been complied by the opposite parties, no further orders are required to be passed in the present contempt application.
