IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI A.B.A. No. 860 of 2025 ------ Rajni Kumari @ Rajni Singh, age 30 years, D/o Subodh Prasad, R/o –IM -331-32, Ward no. 55, Shaharpura Sindri, P.S. & P.O. –Sindri, Dist –Dhanbad, Jharkhand. … Petitioner Versus The State of Jharkhand … Opposite Party ------ CORAM: HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR CHOUDHARY ------ For the Petitioner : Mr. Vishal Srivastava, Advocate For the State : Mr. Shiv Shankar Kr., Addl. P.P. ------ Order No.02 Dated- 12.02.2025 Heard the parties. Apprehending her arrest, the petitioner has moved this Court for grant of privilege of anticipatory bail in connection with Bank More P.S. Case No.181 of 2019 registered under sections 409/420/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner is an employee of J.I.B.F. Consultancy, Dhanbad and she in furtherance of common intention with the co-accused persons collected Rs.14,000/- from the informant and others in the name of registration and employment in Mission Service Trust, Dhanbad and also took Rs.27,600/- from the informant and others in the name of employment in Veidic Energy Company and also issued appointment letters to the informant and others and also imparted training to them but later on Veidic Energy Company fled away. It is further submitted that the allegations against the petitioner are all false and the petitioner has no criminal antecedent as has been mentioned in para-12 of the instant anticipatory bail application. It is next submitted that the petitioner is employed in a consultancy office in the post of computer operator who joined only 20 days before the date of alleged occurrence and she has been removed from the post by the directors of the company. It is further submitted that the petitioner is a female. It is then submitted that the petitioner undertakes to cooperate with the investigation of the case. It is lastly submitted that the co-accused persons have already been given the privilege of anticipatory bail by this Court vide order dated 28.01.2020, passed in A.B.A. Nos. 7635 of 2019, 7709 of 2019 & 7612 of 2019. Hence, it is submitted that the petitioner be given the privilege of anticipatory bail. Learned Addl. P.P. opposes the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail. Considering the submissions of the counsels and the fact as discussed above, I am of the opinion that it is a fit case where the abovenamed petitioner be given the privilege of anticipatory bail. Hence, in the event of her arrest or surrender within a period of six weeks from the date of this order, she shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Dhanbad, in connection with Bank More P.S. Case No.181 of 2019 with the condition that the petitioner will cooperate with the investigation of the case and appear before the Investigating Officer as and when noticed by him and will furnish her mobile number and a copy of her Aadhar Card in the court below with the undertaking that she will not change her mobile number during the pendency of the case subject to the conditions laid down under section 482 (2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
