The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondent department is required to convene DPC every year for promotion of eligible candidates however it is not being convened in regular interval and as such further promotional avenues are withheld. Raising all these grievances, the petitioner has moved his representation on 07.04.2025 before the respondent No.2, however till date no decision has been taken on his representation therefore a suitable direction is sought to be issued to respondent No.2 by way of this petition to decide his pending representation dated 07.04.2025. 2 2. Learned counsel for the State though opposes the petition on merits however he submits that consideration of promotion of the employees are under process. Referring to Annexure P/6 he would submit that communications are being made to the authority concerned to collect service records of the employees for their promotion. 3. Taking into consideration the limited prayer made by the petitioner and also considering the short issue involved, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent No.2 to take a decision on the pending representation of the petitioner dated 07.04.2025 in accordance with law on its own merits within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order, if there is no other impediment in finalization of the process. The petitioner is directed to produce a copy of this order to the respondent No.2 within two weeks from today. 4. With the aforesaid observation, the Writ Petition stands disposed of.
