Heard the parties.
The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Katkamdag P.S. Case No. 143 of 2020, corresponding to G.R. Case No.67 of 2021, for the offence under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of Miss Tanvee, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st class, Hazaribag.
On 06.11.2020 at about 5:00 p.m., the Hywa of the informant was looted by unknown persons in village Sirka, Katkamdag.
It was submitted that petitioner is neither named in the F.I.R nor he was put on T. I. Parade. It was further submitted that nothing incriminating was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. It was finally submitted that co-accused Rahul Ganjhu, from whose possession looted Hywa was recovered, has been granted bail by the Coordinate Bench of this Court vide B.A. No.5603/2021.
In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Miss Tanvee, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st class, Hazaribag, or her successor, in connection with Katkamdag P.S. Case No. 143 of 2020, corresponding to G.R. Case No.67 of 2021.
