By this petition, the petitioner herein inter alia seeks a direction upon the respondents to restore the electric supply connection of the house of the petitioner with a further direction to charge the electricity consumption fee as applicable for residential purposes after adjusting the amount already paid by the petitioner. 2. Mr. Raman Sharma, learned AAG appearing on behalf of the respondents states that dispute with regard to electricity charges in question shall be settled by the competent authority in accordance with the procedure prescribed therefor. He has further stated that in terms of Order No.06- JPDCL of 2022 dated 10.01.2022, Internal Grievance Redressal Cell has been formulated to record and redress the grievances in a time bound manner. He further states that the petitioner is supposed to approach the Internal Grievance Redressal Cell which is the competent authority for redressal of the grievance raised by the petitioner in the instant petition. 3. Faced with aforesaid position, learned counsel for the petitioner states that he would feel satisfied if this petition is disposed of with a 98 2 direction to the petitioner to approach the Internal Grievance Redressal Cell. 4. Learned counsel for the respondent is not averse to the proposition made by learned counsel for the petitioner. 5. In view of the above, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to approach the Internal Grievance Redressal Cell of the JPDCL within fifteen days. The competent authority shall consider the grievance of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders thereon within a period of four weeks thereafter. Till such time, no coercive measure shall be initiated against the petitioner by the respondents.
