Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State. 3. The petitioner has approached this Court with the following prayer: “In the above facts and circumstances, it is humbly prayed that this Hon'ble Court may graciously, be pleased to admit the writ petition, issue Rule Nisi calling upon the opposite parties to show cause as to why the relief made hereunder shall not be allowed and upon receipt of show cause/insufficient cause/no cause shown, made the rule absolute and allow the writ petition: I) Direct the Sub-Register Berhampur-1 Opp party No 4 to permit the petitioner to accept and register the sale deed under Annexure - 2 @ Rs Rs 14,40,000/- per Acre pertaining Khata No 1482/5851, Plot No. 2821, Area Measuring Ac 0.005 dec, in Mouza Haladiapadar, Under Kanisi Tahasil in the District of Ganjam. II) to quash the proceeding DLVC, Ganjam dated 01.02.2024 vide Annexure - 1 as the same is bad and in operative in law. And may further be pleased to pass such other order/orders, direction/directions as deem fit and proper. And for this act of kindness, the Petitioner as in duty bound shall ever pray” 4. It is brought to the notice of this Court in W.P.(C) No.27608/2025, a coordinate Bench of this Court in the case of Jagannath Sahu vs. State of Odisha and others has observed that the report of the DVLC, Ganjam for the year 2024-2026 was quashed in a batch of Writ Petitions. The petitioner’s case is said to be covered by the said judgment. 5. In such view of the matter, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the District Sub-Registrar-I, Rural, Berhampur, Ganjam to consider the registration of the sale deed presented by the Petitioner in the light of the ratio decided in the aforementioned case within ten days from the date of production of certified copy of this order by the Petitioner. 6.
