3. The present application is filed by the applicant praying as under : A. Modify the bail condition contained in the order dated 09.07.2025, passed in Bail Application No. 4791 of 2025 and permit the Applicant to furnish a personal bond of rupees ₹25,000/-. AND/OR B. Or to permit the Applicant to furnish a cash surety of ₹25,000/- without surety in place of the condition requiring furnishing of a personal bond of ₹1,00,000/- with two sureties of the like amount. AND/OR b. Pass any other order(s) as this Hon’ble Court may deem fit in the interest of justice. 4. This Court, by order dated 09.07.2025, had admitted the This is a digitally signed order. applicant on regular bail on the applicant furnishing a personal bond for a sum of ₹1,00,000/- with two sureties of the like amount. Certain other conditions were also imposed. 5. The learned counsel for the applicant submits that despite numerous efforts, the applicant has not been able to arrange two sureties for a sum of ₹1,00,000/-. He submits that due to the same, the applicant is still languishing in custody. 6. In Re : Policy Strategy for Grant of Bail : 2023 SCC OnLine SC 483, the Hon’ble Apex Court had specifically noted that if the accused is not able to furnish bail bonds and sureties within one month from the grant of bail, the concerned Court may suo moto take up the case and consider whether the conditions of bail require modification / relaxation. 7. After being granted bail, the applicant cannot be denied the benefit of the same merely because of his inability to furnish two sureties for a sum of ₹1,00,000/-. 8.
For the reasons mentioned in the application, the same is allowed to the extent that the applicant is directed to be released on regular bail on furnishing a personal bond for a sum of ₹1,00,000/- with a cash surety of ₹25,000/-. 9. It is clarified that the rest of conditions, as imposed by the
order dated 09.07.2025, shall remain the same.
10. The present application is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
