2. However, learned counsel for the respondent is present.
3. This case was posted yesterday i.e. on 26.03.2025, however, learned counsel for the revision petitioner remained absent. Hence the matter was posted on this day.
4. This revision petition directed against the judgment passed in Crl.Appeal.No.5004/2014 dated 20.12.2017 by the II Addl. District and Sessions Judge, Ramanagara, sitting at Kanakapura, whereby the learned Sessions Judge allowed the appeal filed by the respondent under section 29 of the Domestic Violence Act, 2005 by setting aside the judgment and award passed in Crl.Misc.No.110/2014 dated 25.10.2014 by the learned JMFC, Kanakapura.

This day, the learned counsel for the respondent submitted that, during the pendency of this revision petition the entire dispute between the revision petitioner and the respondent settled amicably and their marriage dissolved by a decree of divorce passed in M.C.No.10/2019 dated 16.08.2021. He filed a memo along with the certified copy of the deposition of the revision petitioner named Smt. Anitha @ Tara in the proceedings in MC.No.10/2019. On perusal of the same, it depicts that the revision petitioner stated in her evidence affidavit that all the disputes between herself and the respondent is settled by intervention of the family members and the well wishers. Accordingly, she received a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- as a full and final and settlement as permanent alimony. She also stated in her affidavit that in view of the compromise and also having received the permanent alimony of Rs.5,00,000/- along with gold ornaments, she undertakes to withdraw this revision petition filed by her against the respondent.
6. Nevertheless, the
judgment passed in MC.No.10/2019 also depicts that a decree of divorce is granted in favour of the respondent by placing reliance on the affidavit
