GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: 3 THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE B.V.L.N.CHAKRAVARTHI WRIT PETITION No.25411 OF 2024 O R D E R: This writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is filed for the following relief: “…to issue an order, direction or Writ more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondent Nos.4 and 5 in opening and maintaining of a “suspect sheet” vide C.NO.64/SDPO.EAST/2015, dt.09.10.2015 against the petitioner without causing notice or making enquiry before opening Suspect Sheet as arbitrary, illegal, void, violative of principles of natural justice and also in violation of Articles 14, 21 and 300-A of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to close the suspect sheet opened and maintained against the petitioner, in the interest of justice and pass......” 2. Heard Sri Devaram Srihari, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Government Pleader for Home. 3. Learned Additional Government Pleader for Home would submit that counter was filed by the Sub Divisional Police Officer, East Division, Guntur Urban/respondent No.4, and as per the counter-affidavit, the suspect sheet opened against the petitioner was closed vide C.No.74/D4/DCRB-GTR/2024, dt.04.11.2024 4 and therefore, no further orders are required in the writ petition, and the same is placed on record. 4. In that view of the matter, the Writ Petition is closed at the stage of admission without going into the merits of the case. There shall be no order as to costs.
