The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Dhurwa (T) P.S. Case No. 200 of 2023, corresponding to G.R. Case No.2893 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 406, 420, 323, 341, 506/34 of the I.P.C. and cognizance has been taken under Sections 406, 420, 34 of the I.P.C., pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ranchi. Petitioner along with co-accused person entered into an agreement with the informant for sale of the land. Thereafter, Rs.20,80,000/- was transferred in the account of the petitioner. Mr. R. S. Mazumdar, learned senior counsel for the petitioner submitted that he has prepared a demand draft of Rs.21,00,000/- and the same should be handed over to the informant as parties have settled their dispute. Mr. Shekhar Sinha, learned counsel for the informant submitted that the demand draft should be handed over to the informant Bhupendra Sahu who is the staff of this Court. Let the demand draft be kept on the record. The demand draft shall be handed over to the informant on his identification by his lawyer. Considering the fact that petitioner has returned the entire consideration amount, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail -2- on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ranchi, in connection with Dhurwa (T) P.S.
