It is submitted that the 4' of the southern states, informing them of the age groups for participation. The petitioner was born on 18.10.2009, and as per the circular dated 02.09.2025, the petitioner was not eligible to participate in under-16 category. However, a revised circular was issued on 04.09.2025, specifying the eligibility in the under-16 category, the applicant should be born between 12.09.2009 and 11.09.2011. The said circular indicates that there is revised cutoff for the under-16 athletics categoi7, and the petitioner should be made eligible. It is submitted that the petitioner received a WhatsApp message whereby he was called upon to participate in the under-18 category. 2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Central Government Counsel appearing for the 1®‘ respondent. Considering the submissions, there shall be a direction to the respondent Nos.2, 3 and 4 to consider and permit petitioner No.2 to participate in accordance with the age criteria mentioned in the circular dated 04.09.2025 in the proposed athletic competitions of organized by the 4‘^ respondent. 3. With the above directions, the present writ petition is disposed off.
