THE HONOURABLE DR JUSTICE VENKATA JYOTHIRMAI PRATAPA WRIT PETITION NO: 25270 of 2025 ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“…pleased to issue any order, direction or writ more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the Respondent No.2 and its officers in calling upon the Petitioner to the police station without thereby being any complaint against the petitioner and coercing to settle the issues with Respondent No. 3 and 4 in relation to the subject properties purchased by the Petitioner from Respondent Nos. 3 and 4, thereby interfering with the life and liberty of the Petitioner as illegal, arbitrary, unconstitutional and violative of fundamental rights guaranteed under Article 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and set-aside the same and direct the 2nd Respondent not to interfere with the Petitioner except in accordance with law and pass….”
2. Sri V. Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that no crime has been registered against the petitioner. Basing on the PGRS petition lodged by the respondent No.3 vide Grievance No.NTR202507074487, dated 07.07.2025, the police have called the petitioner to the police station for the purpose of preliminary enquiry only. He would further submit that the police are not interfering in the civil disputes between the parties. 3. Sri P.Badrinath, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that recording the same, the petition may be disposed of. 4. Recording the above said submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
However, the police are directed not to
