The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Devipur P.S. Case No. 149 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 126(2), 351(2), 352, 109, 111(1), 111(2) and 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023 and Section 27 of the Arms Act, pending in the Court of Sri Alok Marandi, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Deoghar. 3. On 11.09.2024, at about 06:30 p.m., co-accused Raju Kumar Mahtha is alleged to have fired upon the informant. However, the informant had a providential escape. 4. It was submitted that the co-accused Raju Kumar Mahtha has been granted bail by this Court earlier and the case of the petitioner stands on better footing. 5. Mr. Prabir Kumar Chatterjee, learned Special P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the petitioner has got criminal antecedent. 6. Considering the fact that there is no specific allegation against the petitioner, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Alok Marandi, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Deoghar in connection with Devipur P.S.
