Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Kamdara P.S. Case No. 31 of 2023 for the offences registered under sections 379/411 of the Indian Penal Code, Rule 54 of J.M.M.C Rule, 2004, Rule 13 of J.M.M.T.S. Rules, 2017 and section 21 of MMDR Act, 1957, pending in the court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gumla. During the intervening period of 19 / 20.06.2023, Kamdara police on the basis of confidential information, seized huge quantity of sand which were accumulated at a public place. It was submitted that name of the petitioner has transpired on the basis of confidential information given by the witnesses whose names have not been disclosed by the prosecution. It was further submitted that co-accused Udasan Nag has been granted bail by this Court vide B.A. No.9329 of 2024. In view of the submission made above, petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gumla in connection with Kamdara P.S.
