The petitioners have been made accused in connection with Complaint Case No. 1230 of 2024, for the offence registered under Section 47(a) and Section 55 of the Excise Act, pending in the court of learned S.D.J.M at Chandil. It was submitted that 225 liters of foreign liquors were recovered from the possession of the petitioners. It was further submitted that the offence alleged is triable by the Court of Judicial Magistrate. It appears that petitioners are in custody for about one and half months. In view of the aforesaid fact, I am inclined to release the petitioners, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioners, named above, are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M at Chandil, in connection with Complaint Case No. 1230 of 2024.
