GP FOR REVENUE 3 THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE TARLADA RAJASEKHAR RAO WRIT PETITION No.25545 of 2025 ORDER:- The present Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief: “…to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, declaring the action of the respondent authorities in not considering the petitioner's representations, including the one dated 28.07.2025 bearing Grievance No.TPT202507284799, for mutation of the petitioner's name in the online revenue records in respect of the subject property admeasuring Ac.1.50 cents in Sy.No.251/1 of C. Ramapuram Village, Ramachandrapuram Mandal, Tirupati District, as arbitrary, illegal, violative of provisions of Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 read with Rule 9 of the Rules framed thereunder, and also violative of Articles 14 and 300-A of the Constitution of India, and consequently direct the respondents to forthwith effect mutation of the petitioner's name in the online revenue records, and pass such other order or orders…” 2. Succinctly, the case of the petitioner is that an extent of Ac.1.50 cents in Sy.No.251/1 of C.Ramapuram Village, Ramachandrapuram Mandal, Tirupati District, was assigned in favour of petitioner under D.K.T.No.25A/4/1411, dated 05.07.2006, upon due compliance with the procedure prescribed under law for such assignment. Thereafter, the petitioner made an application/representation seeking mutation of the petitioner’s name in the online revenue records. However, the same was not considered by the respondent authorities. Subsequently, the petitioner submitted further representation dated 28.07.2025, bearing Grievance No.TPT202507284799, seeking 4 mutation of the petitioner’s name in respect of the subject property. Till today, no orders have been passed. Aggrieved by the inaction, present writ petition has been filed. 3. Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue for respondents. 4. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that it would suffice to direct the respondent authorities to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner. 5. Learned Assistant Government Pleader would submit that petitioner’s representation will be considered and appropriate orders be passed in accordance with law. 6. In view of the above submissions, without going into merits of the matter, the present Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 28.07.2025, pass appropriate orders in accordance with law and communicate the decision to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six (06) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
