Learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that in this petition order dated 10.05.2019 (Annexure P-16) and subsequent decision dated 16th October, 2019 (Annexure P-26) have been challenged whereby sanction for initiation of criminal proceedings has been granted against the petitioner, consequent to which, FIR bearing Crime No. 9/2020 was registered against the petitioner by Anti Corruption Bureau (EOW), 2 Raipur in respect of allegation contained in order dated 16th October, 2019 (Annexure P-26). It is further contended that vide order dated 16.4.2024, learned Special Judge (Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988), Raipur has accepted closure report in respect of FIR bearing Crime No. 9/2024 registered against the petitioner and in that view of the matter, General Administration Department, State of Chhattisgarh, has passed order dated 01.04.2025 closing the enquiry immediately in respect of order dated 10.05.2019 (Annexure P-16). Learned Senior Counsel further submits that in view of the order passed by the Special Judge (PC Act), Raipur as well as the State Government, nothing survives for decision in respect of this petition and, therefore, this petition has become infructuous. 2. Aforesaid contention made by learned Senior Counsel has also been conceded by learned Deputy Advocate General for the State / respondents No. 1 & 2. In this regard, learned Deputy Advocate General has also filed copy of order dated 16.4.2024 passed by Special Judge (PC Act), Raipur and order dated 01.04.2025 passed by General Administration Department, State of Chhattisgarh. 3. In view of above contention putforth by learned counsel for the parties, this petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
