Heard the parties.
The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Kanke P.S. Case No. 244 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 111(3) (4) (6) (7), 308 (3) (4), 351(3), 352, 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023, pending in the court of Miss Ritwika Singh, learned J.M.F.C.-XXIV, Ranchi. Rangdari was demanded from the informant by Prince Khan, who is a dreaded criminal. During the course of investigation, it has come to light that the petitioner who is mother-in-law of Prince Khan was also involved in a racket of extortion. Criminal antecedent report of the petitioner earlier called for, has been received. It appears that petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Miss Ritwika Singh, learned J.M.F.C.-XXIV, Ranchi or her successor, in connection with Kanke P.S. Case No. 244 of 2025.
