PUBLIC PROSECUTOR The Court made the following: ORDER: The instant Criminal Petition under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been filed, by the Petitioners/Accused, seeking to quash the proceedings against them in Crime No.199 of 2024 on the file of Anaparthi Police Station, East Godavari District registered for the offence under Section 420 read with 34 IPC. 2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Ms.Burugu Srilatha, learned counsel for the Petitioners would submit that without causing any prejudice to the rights and contentions of the Petitioners, the petition may be disposed of. 3. Ms.K.Priyanka Lakshmi, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor would submit that the Court may pass appropriate orders. 4. In that view of the matter, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Police are directed to proceed with the investigation, conclude the same and file a report according to law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. If anything is found against the Petitioners, they are at liberty to challenge the same, if so advised.
