Heard Sri Ramesh Kumar Mishra, learned counsel for the petitioners and Sri R.C. Srivastava, learned Addl. C.S.C. for the state-respondents. 2. The instant writ petition has been filed for the following relief:- "(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus, commanding and directing the state-respondents to restrain the private respondents from interferring in peaceful possession over the arazi no.44, situated at village/mauza Pannoi, Mahgaon, Kachhar, Police Station Sandipan Ghat, Tehsil Chayal, District Kaushambi, Uttar Pradesh." 3. Counsel for the petitioners submitted that the private respondents be restrained from interferring with the possession of the petitioners. 4. I have considered the arguments advanced by counsel for the petitioners and perused the records. 5. The prayer made in the petition, to restrain the private respondents from interferring with the peaceful possession of the petitioners in respect to arazi no.44, cannot be granted in exercise of jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. 6.
