On 10.01.2025, Smt. G.Jhansi, learned counsel, that filed the writ petition submitted that she is no more the Standing Society and she was replaced by Sri A.Rajendra RC,J W.P.No.14934 of 2009 2 Babu, learned counsel. Consequently, this Court directed the Registry to print the name of Sri A.Rajendra Babu, learned counsel for the petitioner in the cause list. 2. On 06.03.2025, Sri A.Rajendra Babu, learned counsel, submitted that he is not the standing counsel for the petitioner society and he has nothing to do with the case. Therefore, this Court directed the Registry to issue notice to the petitioner-society. 3. The endorsement made by the office dated 02.04.2025 on the proceeding sheet shows that notice as ordered by this Court was sent and the same was served on the petitioner-society. However, the petitioner-society did not choose to put up appearance when the matter was called on 03.04.2025. This Court, in order to give one more fair opportunity, adjourned the matter to 10.04.2025, with a direction to the registry to print the name of petitioner-society in the cause list. Despite the same, the petitioner-society neither choose to appear nor choose to put up their appearance through a counsel. 4. This shows that the petitioner-society is not interested in prosecuting the case. As such, left with no other option, this Court inclines to dismiss the petition for non-prosecution. RC,J W.P.No.14934 of 2009 3 5. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. There shall be no order as to costs. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
