This Court while directing notice to the respondents in W.P No.16110 of 2023 by orders dated 06.07.2023, granted interim direction to the effect that the respondent No.6 therein/Anantapur Rural Gram Panchayat, Anantapur Rural, shall ensure that no construction activity is proceeded with, in the subject matter land, in the absence of the building permission of the Gram Panchayat. 2. The respondent No.1 herein filed reply-affidavit dated 02.11.2023, wherein it is inter alia stated, in paragraph-4, that the respondent No.2 had obtained building permission from the concerned Anantapuramu-Hin dupur Urban Development Authority (AHUDA) officials on 28.05.2023. The reply- 3. NJS,J C.C No. 5352 of 2023 4 affidavit also mentions that no construction activity is going on in the subject premises. Be that as it may. As no rejoinder is filed denying the said aspects and as the directions dated 06.07.2023 are unambiguous, this Court is not inclined to continue the present proceedings. 4. 5. Accordingly, this Contempt Case is closed. Needless to observe that the petitioner may raise all contentions with regard to the construction activity being undertaken by the respondent No.2 in the writ petition. No costs.
