The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Chatra Sadar P.S. Case No. 320/2024, for the offence registered under Section 103 of the B.N.S. 2023, pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chatra. On 13.10.2024 at about 6:00 A.M., son of the informant was assaulted by 40-50 persons, due to which he succumbed to his injuries. It was submitted that though the petitioner is named in the F.I.R., but there is general and omnibus allegation against all the accused persons including the petitioner. It was finally submitted that similarly situated co- accused has been granted bail by this Court as well as by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court earlier. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chatra, in connection with Chatra Sadar P.S.
