The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Rail (Muri) P.S. Case No. 03 of 2025(N) corresponding to N.D.P.S. Case No. 113 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 20(b)(ii)(B) & 29 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned Judicial Commissioner-cum-Spl. Judge, N.D.P.S., Ranchi. 3. On 30.05.2025 at about 7:15 P.M., Muri Railway police apprehended this petitioner from Platform No. 1 at Muri Railway Station. On search, 10 Kgs. of cannabis were recovered from possession of this petitioner. 4. It was submitted that quantum of seized cannabis comes within the purview of intermediary quantity. It was further submitted that though petitioner has got criminal antecedent but no case of similar nature is pending against him. 5. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Commissioner-cum-Spl.
