Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Lower Bazar P.S. Case No. 194 of 2025 (N) for the offences registered under Section 317(5) of the B.N.S., 2023 and Section 21(b) and 29 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned Judicial Commissioner-cum-Special Judge (NDPS), Ranchi. 3. On 13.08.2025, Lower Bazar Police on the basis of confidential information apprehended this petitioner and co-accused from a place near Birsa Munda Bus Stand, Khadgada. On search, 23.67 grams of brown sugar were recovered from their joint possession. 4. It was submitted that the seized brown sugar comes within the purview of intermediary quantity. It was further submitted that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. 5. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Commissioner-cum-Special Judge (NDPS), Ranchi, in connection with Lower Bazar P.S.
