SANJAY GOWDA ORAL ORDER Petitioner herein is challenging an order passed by the Special Land Acquisition Officer (SLAO) by which the grant made in favour of the petitioner has been cancelled. 2. A perusal of the order indicates that the petitioner was not heard in the matter. The SLAO has observed that the petitioner had not filed objections and therefore, he was constrained to pass an order of cancellation. 3. Since the order of grant is sought to be cancelled, in my view it would be appropriate to grant one more opportunity to the petitioner to file her objections and put-forth her case before the SLAO. Consequently, the - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC:17016 WP No. 25036 of 2024 petition is allowed and impugned order dated 03.06.2023 is set-aside and the matter is remitted to the SLAO with a direction to the SLAO to permit the petitioner to file her objections within a period of two (02) weeks from today and thereafter, proceed to consider the matter on merits.
