This appeal has been preferred by the appellant being aggrieved by JYOTI SHARMA Digitally signed by JYOTI SHARMA Date: 2025.06.10 17:08:18 +0530 2 the judgment of conviction and order of sentence dated 30.11.2015 passed by the learned 2nd Additional Session Judge, Raigarh C.G. in Session Trial No. 69/ 2015, the trial Court has convicted and sentenced the appellant as under : Conviction Sentence In Default Under Section 307 of IPC R.I. for 5 years and fine of Rs. 10,000/- In default of payment of fine further R.I. for one year (Both sentences shall run concurrently) 2. When the case is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the appellant submits that the sentence awarded to the appellant by the trial Court has already been completed and fine amount has already been deposited before the Court. He further submits that the appellant has already been released from jail on 18.01.2020 as such, instant criminal appeal be disposed of accordingly. 3. Learned State Counsel submitted the jail report received from the Office of Assistant Jail Superintendent, Jail, Raigarh, C.G. , and would submit that the appellant has already completed his jail sentence awarded to him by the trial Court and has been released from jail on 18.01.2020 4. Since the appellant has already completed his jail sentence as 3 also deposited the fine amount and has been released from jail on 18.01.2020 and learned counsel for the appellant does not want to press this appeal on merits, instant criminal appeal is disposed off.
