( 2025:JHHC:36637 ) IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI B.A. No. 10565 of 2025 ------- Vijay Ravidas @ Vijay Kumar Das, aged about 20 years, son of Sunil Das, resident of Mohalichuwa, P.O. Giridih, P.S. Giridih (M), District Giridih. …... …. Petitioner(s) Versus The State of Jharkhand .…. …. Opp. Party -------- CORAM : HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE AMBUJ NATH -------- For the Petitioner(s) : Mr. Kamdeo Pandey, Advocate For the State : Mr. Saket Kumar, A.P.P -------- 02/ Dated 06.12.2025 Heard the parties. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Giridih Town P.S. Case No. 56 of 2025, for the offence under Section 96 of B.N.S., pending in the court of learned C.J.M., Giridih. Petitioner is alleged to have enticed away the daughter of the informant to leave her lawful guardianship with an intention to marry her. From perusal of the impugned order, it appears that the statement of the victim was recorded under Section 183 B.N.S.S., in which, she has stated that she has left her lawful guardianship as she was having affairs with the petitioner and she has married the petitioner. This appears to be a case of adolescent love affairs between the parties. In view of the aforesaid fact, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Giridih, in connection with Giridih Town P.S. Case No. 56 of 2025. (Ambuj Nath, J.) December 06, 2025 BS/- Uploaded on 08.12.2025
