Respondent filed Writ Petition (S/S) No.535 of 2018 challenging his transfer from Nyay Panchayat to Gram Panchayat by contending that as a Gram Panchayat Adhikari, he is not liable to be transferred from Nyay Panchayat to Gram Panchayat. 4. The writ petition was allowed by learned Single Judge by judgment dated 23.03.2018. Challenging the said judgment, State has filed this appeal. 5. Mr. I.D. Paliwal, learned counsel makes a statement at Bar that writ-petitioner (respondent herein) has retired from service in 2022. Thus, he submits that after his retirement the reliefs as claimed in writ petition do not survive. 6. Learned State Counsel also submits that appeal has become infructuous in view of superannuation of appellant. 7. In view of the above, the appeal is dismissed as infructuous. (Subhash Upadhyay,J.)
