The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Giridih (T) P.S. Case No. 40 of 2020, for the offences registered under Sections 365, 379, 406 /34 of the I.P.C., pending in the court of Ms. Mosrat Jiya Tara, learned Judicial Magistrate, Giridih. On 11.02.2020, the informant had come from Pune to Giridih. While he was on the way back home, a person in a Maruti car offered him lift. The informant accepted the offer and boarded the vehicle. The accused on the way, at knife point took away his SIM card, Rs.1500/- in cash and also his ATM card. He forced the informant to disclose the PIN of his ATM card. Later on, Rs.25,000/- was withdrawn from the account of the informant. It was submitted that petitioner is neither named in the F.I.R. nor he was put on T.I. Parade. It was further submitted that though the accused has withdrawn money from the account of the informant, but there is no CCTV footage showing that it was the petitioner who had withdrawn the money. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Ms. Mosrat Jiya Tara, learned Judicial Magistrate, Giridih or her successor, in connection with Giridih (T) P.S.
