This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief: “to issue a writ order or directions more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 2nd respondent in not disposing the RoR Appeal filed by the petitioners to incorporate their names in the revenue records by issuing the pattadar passbooks and title deeds in respect of the land in Sy.No.103/2A to an extent of Ac.0.55 cents of Marivada Village, Tuni Mandal, Kakinada District and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to include the entire land in Sy.No.103/2A to an extent of Ac.0.55 cents of Marivada Village, Tuni Mandal, Kakinada District in dispute register in terms of Circular issued by the CCLA, Govt, of A.P. vide Ref.No.LR-ll/RoR-ll/144/2021, dated 29.04.2024 and to pass….” 2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners preferred an ROR appeal dated 01.08.2025 before the 2nd respondent, i.e., the Revenue Divisional Officer, seeking for incorporation of their names in the revenue records by issuing pattadar passbooks and title deeds in respect of the land in Sy.No.103/2A, admeasuring to an extent of Ac.0.55 cents, situated at Marivada Village, Tuni Mandal, Kakinada District. Pending disposal of the said appeal, the respondent No.4 is trying to incorporate his name in the revenue records in respect of the subject property and also trying to alienate the subject property to third parties. Hence, the present Writ Petition. 4. The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents submits that the respondents’ authorities will consider and dispose of the ROR appeal preferred by the petitioners before the 2nd respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a reasonable time. 5. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents and on perusal of the material available on record, this court is of the considered view that, the present writ petition can be disposed of by directing the 2nd respondent to consider and dispose of the ROR appeal preferred by the petitioners and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law after providing an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and other stake holders if any, within a period of six(06) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this Order. In the meanwhile, status-quo obtaining as on today shall be maintained by the both parties in respect of the subject property. 6. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
