AD 34 August 8, 2025 Ct. 28 SG CRM(A) 2517 of 2025 Reject An application for anticipatory bail under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 in connection with Dadpur P.S. Case No.416 of 2024 dated 09.12.2024 under Sections 107/3(5) of the BNS, 2023. And In the matter of: Sumit Majhi @ Samir … petitioner Mr. Palash Bapari … for the petitioner Mr. Atif Ahmed Siddiqui … for the State Heard learned counsels for the parties. Perused the case diary. Considering the incriminating materials available in the case diary, especially the statement of an independent witness present at page 12 of the case diary, I do not consider this to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail. The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of requisite formalities.
