Mr. Deepak Sharma, learned Standing Counsel, appears and waives service of notice on behalf of the respondents. 2. With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the matter is heard at this stage. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that even though the respondent-Corporation vide its office communication dated 09.05.2024 (Annexure P-3) has sanctioned drawing limit in favour of the petitioner for 1Whether reporters of print and electronic media may be allowed to see the order? Yes. 2 releasing him due arrears amounting to Rs.6,33,547/-, however, the same have still not been released. 4. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that he has instructions to state that the aforesaid arrears alongwith statutory interest thereupon shall be released in favour of the petitioner within three weeks from today. 5. In view of above, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to release the arrears payable to the petitioner in terms of the aforesaid office communication dated 09.05.2024 (Annexure P-3) alongwith statutory interest, if any, within a period of three weeks from today as undertaken by them, i.e. by 14.08.2025. In case the amount is not paid by the aforesaid date, the same shall carry interest @ 5% per annum.
