This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents No.3 to 5 in calling us to their Police Station with regard to civil disputes between us and the respondent No.6, at the instance of the respondents No.6 and asking us to settle the disputes with respondents No.6 by paying Rs. 1,70,00,000/- or else we would be put behind bar as arbitrary, illegal, colorable exercise of power and quite contrary to the well established legal principles being laid down by the Hon'ble Court and the Hon'ble Apex Court from time to time apart from being violative of the Fundamental and Constitutional Rights guaranteed to us under Articles 14, 19, 21 and 300-A of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents No.3 to 5 not to interfere with the civil disputes between us and the respondent Nos.6.”

Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that, based on the complaint lodged by Respondent No.6, the Petitioners were called for preliminary enquiry. It is further submitted that the Police are not interfering with the civil disputes between the Petitioners and the unofficial Respondents. 3. Sri B.Abhay Siddhanth, learned counsel for the Petitioners would submit that the Police are interfering with the civil disputes between the Petitioners and the unofficial Respondents. 4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Police not to interfere in the civil disputes between the Petitioners and the unofficial Respondents. There shall be no order as to costs.
