CMP No.23353 of 2025 By medium of this application, the applicant/appellant has prayed for release of the excess amount lying deposited in the Registry of this Court along-with proportionate up-to-date interest accrued thereon. In terms of judgment dated 24.07.2025, the award passed by the learned Tribunal has been modified and the compensation amount has been reduced to Rs.7,90,400/- along-with interest @ 6% per annum from the date of filing of claim petition till realization of whole amount. Learned counsel representing the claimants have submitted before the Court that the judgment dated 24.07.2025 has not been assailed further. Since 90 days period has expired, there is no impediment to release the amount in terms of judgment passed by this Court. In view of above stated facts, the application filed by the applicant/appellant is allowed and the excess amount, in terms of judgment passed by this Court is ordered to be released along-with proportionate up-to- date interest and the same may be transmitted in the bank account of the applicant/appellant, details whereof have been mentioned in prayer clause of the application against proper receipt and identification.
