PUBLIC PROSECUTOR The Court Made the Following Order: The instant petition under Section 528 of BNSS, has been filed by the petitioner herein/Accused No.4, seeking quashment of proceedings against him in Crime No.359 of 2025 of Arundalpet Police Station, Guntur District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 318(2) and 316(5) read with 3(5) of the BNS. 2. Heard Ms.K.Madhavi Latha, learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms.K.Priyanka Lakshmi, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor representing the State. 2 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that some of the accused in the present crime has Criminal Petition No.6382 of 2025 before this Court and obtained a direction to the police to complete the investigation in the present crime without taking any coercive steps against them vide order dated 26.06.2025 and the petitioner herein is also on the same footing. 4. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor has disputed the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and would submit that the Court may pass appropriate orders. 5. Considering the submissions made, the Station House Officer, Arundalpet Police Station, Guntur District, is directed to complete the investigation without taking any coercive steps against the petitioner. However, this shall not preclude the Investigating Officer from filing the charge sheet/final report in accordance with law. 6. With the above directions, the Criminal Petition is disposed of.
