Instant petition has been filed seeking following reliefs:- “(i)That this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a direction to the respondent authorities to grant compensatory leave to the petitioner for working on holidays at post of Assistant Veterinary Filed Officer, in the larger interest of justice. (ii) That the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a direction to the respondent No.2 to consider and decide representation of the petitioner within some stipulated period of time. (iii) Any other relief(s) that this Hon’ble Court may deem fit to grant in the facts and circumstances of this case.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner at the very outset submits that the petitioner may be allowed to file a representation seeking relief that the compensatory leave to the petitioner for working on holidays which is not being granted in the petitioner’s department though the said compensatory leave is being granted in the other department like Police Department, Health Department, as such the petitioner is submitting that the authorities may kindly be directed to consider this aspect and to pass necessary orders in respect of compensatory leave to the petitioner as well as likewise employees of the veterinary department. 3. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that if the petitioner files a representation to this effect, the respondent/authorities may be 3 directed to consider and decide the representation in accordance with law. 4. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is allowed to file a representation seeking relief which he is praying in this petition and in turn the respondent/authorities are directed to decide the same in accordance with law in a pragmatic manner within four weeks. 5.
