As there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner on 20.12.2024 and 28.01.2025, the matter was directed to be listed today under the caption ‘for dismissal’. 3. Even, today also there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. 4. Conversely, Sri Butta Vijaya Bhaskar, learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondent No.2, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner retired from the service on 31.08.2013 after attaining the age of superannuation. Thereafter, the petitioner received all the pensionary benefits, as per the University Rules vide proceedings of the Vice-Chancellor No.2777/GAP-2/2013, dated 07.09.2013. 5. Thus, as seen from the instructions submitted by the learned Standing Counsel, as the cause in the lis does not survive for adjudication and no further orders are required. 6. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
