Sudeepthi Potluri, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Mines and Geology appearing for the respondents. 2. The grievance of the petitioner is against the inaction of the respondents in considering the representation dated 28.05.2025 of the petitioner, for grant of quarry lease for Laterite over an extent of 24.00 hectares and 10.30 hectares located in Yerakannapalem and Munthamamidi Village of Nathavaram Mandal, Anakapalli District. 3. It is contended that the Andhra Pradesh Government has issued Mining Policy vide G.O.Ms.No.57, Industries & Commerce (M.II) Department, dated 18.04.2025, revising the rates of Seigniorage Fee payable by all the minor mineral lease holders in the State. In this connection, the petitioner has made a representation dated 28.05.2025 to the 2nd respondent, stating that, in view of the new Minor Mineral Policy, the Government is revising the Seigniorage Charges. Therefore, the petitioner has requested that the revised charges, payable by the petitioner be informed. However, no orders have been passed on the said representation, so far. 4. Having regard to the same, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the representation dated 28.05.2025 submitted by the petitioner and pass 4 appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
