The petitioner-Association has filed this petition claiming enhanced grade pay from Rs.2800/- to Rs.4400/- as per recommendation made in the year, 2018 by the scrutiny committee constituted for screening of Pay and other Allowances payable to employees of Staff Nurse Cadre. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that raising their grievance, the petitioner-Chhattisgarh State Nurses Association made a representation on 13.05.2025 to the respondent authorities to 2 implement the said recommendation and for payment of increased grade pay to Staff Nurses but till date their representation has not been considered and decided by the authorities concerned and therefore they may be directed to take a decision on the pending representation of the petitioner within stipulated time frame in accordance with law. 3. On the other hand, the counsel for the State though opposes the petition on merit, however, they would submit that the State has no objection if a direction is issued to decide the pending representation of the petitioner within stipulated time period. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material annexed with the petition. 5. Taking into consideration the limited prayer made by the petitioner and also considering the fact that representation of petitioner-Association claiming enhanced grade pay from Rs. 2800/- to Rs. 4400/- to Staff Nurse as per the recommendation of the year, 2018 is pending since 13.05.2025, without entering into the merits of the case the respondent No.2 & 3 are directed to consider and decide the pending representation of the petitioner in accordance with law on its own merits within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The petitioner-Association is directed to produce a copy of this order to respondent No.2&3 within two weeks from today. 6. With the aforesaid observation, the Writ Petition stands disposed of.
