The petitioner herein has approached this Court feeling aggrieved by the fact that the appeal that has been preferred by him against the order of his suspension dated 27.06.2025, is neither being decided nor the interim relief prayed for therein by the petitioner for the stay of his suspension is being granted. 3. Learned Counsel for the petitioner has taken the Court through the documents appended with the petition and perusal thereof demonstrates that the appeal preferred by the petitioner was initially listed on 24.07.2025, on which date, prayer was made before the learned Appellate Authority for the stay of operation of the 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 2025:HHC:37044 impugned order, however, learned Appellate Authority ordered that status quo be maintained. Thereafter, the case was listed on 14.08.2025, however, the Court did not meet on account of administrative exigency. On 23.09.2025 also, the Court was not held on account of administrative exigency and learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that thereafter also, the matter has not been heard. It is in these circumstances that the petitioner is before this Court. 4. Learned Additional Advocate General submitted that the writ petition can be disposed of by directing the Authority concerned to decide the appeal expeditiously. The Court stands informed that the appeal is listed before the Appellate Authority on 12.11.2025. 5. Be that as it may, in light of the prayer made by the petitioner and in light of the submissions made by learned Additional Advocate General, this petition is disposed of with the direction that let an endeavour be made by the learned Appellate Authority to decide the appeal as expeditiously as possible, however, till the decision of the appeal, operation of the order of suspension dated 27.06.2025 shall remain stayed and the petitioner shall be allowed to perform his duties as Pradhan of Gram Panchayat Nor, Development 3 2025:HHC:37044 Block Nirmand, District Kullu, H.P.
