ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“…to issue a writ order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the orders of the Commissioner Endowments Department in Rc. No. A1/35736/2013 dated 19.10.2014 and the proceedings vide Rc. No. A1/ 961705/2018 dated 16.04.2018 and the consequential proceedings issued by the 3rd respondent vide Rc.No.A1/4005/2014 dated 24.05.2018 imposing the punishment imposing with holding 3 increments with cumulative effect and the consequential proceedings issued in 2018 treating the period of suspension will be leave in petitioners account as per leave eligibility despite the Judgment of the Hon’ble Chief Metropolitan Magistrate at Vijayawada in C.C.No.910/2013 dated 08.12.2016 as bad, illegal, arbitrary, violative of Article 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to grant all consequential benefits including the monetary benefits and direct the respondents to consider the petitioner for promotion to the post of Superintendent and grant…”
2. Heard Sri V.S.K.Rama Rao, learned Counsel for the Petitioner. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for the respondents is in attendance.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that during the pendency of the present petition, the petitioner was promoted from the post of Senior Assistant to the post of Superintendent. In the light of acquiring the promotion, the petitioner does not want to proceed with this matter and the petition may be disposed of.
4. Recording the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed, since the relief has become infructuous. No order as to costs.
